INAUGURATION OF REPUBLIC NEPAL


Prime Minister of Nepal and President of Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala inauguration their Mahasamiti meeting (broad central committee meeting)in their party office in Kathmandu. President and Prime Minister Koirala said the Nepali Congress Party was all set to adopt a policy of democratic republic. Koirala also asked the party leaders to go unitedly for holding the constituent assembly elections on time.

British International Development Minister for Asian Affairs Shahid Malik (C) British Ambassador to Nepal Dr. Andrew Hall (L) and chief of Department for International Development (DFID) of Nepal Bell Bird (R) attending in a press conference in Kathmandu. He arrived Nepal on September 17 for his 4 day visit. Malik meet various political leaders to talk about the latest political development. United Kingdom (UK) gives eight million dollar grand assistant to Nepal Peace Trust Fund, including support for the upcoming constituent assembly polls.
