NEW NOTE OF RS 500 !!!!


As parts of the government's drive to cut royal power, the Nepali central bank had released new coins of two rupees denomination without the king's name and any royal symbols for the first time September 5and this is second banknotes of rupees 500. The central bank released 20 million units of the new currency notes worth Nepali Rs.10 billion ($153.8 million) in which Mt. Qomolangma replaces the king's image and the national flower rhododendron has been printed in place of the existing watermark but still featured the monarch in watermark.

Two women participant in a protest rally against the goverment organized by RPP in kathmandu. RPP accused being failure to maintain law and order in the country and blaming the coalition government, for the current political uncertainly and poor governance. This protest rally organized one day before of the Nepali special interim parliament sessions. RPP central committee meeting has decided to vote against any proposal by the Maoists in the upcoming special parliament session for declaring Nepal a republic. The RPP has four members in the interim parliament.

Nepal Rastrya Prajatantra Party (RPP)staging the protest rally in Kathmandu,capital city of Nepal. Rpp demands the immediate dissolve of the present government accused being failure to maintain law and order in the country and blaming the coalition government, for the current political uncertainly and poor governance. This protest rally organized one day before of the Nepali special interim parliament sessions. RPP central committee meeting has decided to vote against any proposal by the Maoists in the upcoming special parliament session for declaring Nepal a republic. The RPP has four members in the interim parliament.

PROTEST FOR POLLS !!!!!!!!!!


A protest rally organized by CPN-UML. Nepali Election Commission (EC) decided to suspend all election programs following a request from the Nepali Interim Government. The seven political parties have decided to postpone the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections which was scheduled for November 22 but has not fixed new date for the polls.
