NEW COIN OF RUPEES 2


New coin of rupees (L) two and old one

(R). King Gyanendra's name has been replaced on the coin with an image of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak which is on Nepal's border with China and other side of the coin, which is worth about three cents, shows a farmer ploughing a field. According to Nepal State Bank this is the first time removed the name of the king from the commercially issued coins in the history of Nepal.
